Critical infrastructure protection
Norway faces a dynamic and uncertain threat environment. Serious intentional undesirable actions, such as terrorism, sabotage and espionage, can occur without warning.
Incidents such as the terrorist attack on 22. July 2011 and targeted cyber attacks from foreign states against Norwegian enterprises demonstrate the importance of our society having a sufficiently advanced ability to protect against and resist attacks. This is particularly important when it comes to critical societal functions.
Our advisers have extensive experience with providing advice to enterprises that own or operate critical infrastructure or critical societal functions. Many of these enterprises are subject to strict security requirements, i.e. sector specific regulations and cross-sectoral regulations such as the Norwegian Security Act. Our advisers fully understand how these requirements should be implemented in a comprehensive and balanced manner.
