Mina has 14 years of experience in audit. She leads the industry group for Public Benefit and Non-Profit Organisations at BDO and has specialised in this sector, where the majority of her clients are based. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from BI Norwegian Business School, where she wrote her thesis on the auditing of public grants in non-profit organisations. X is a State Authorised Public Accountant and serves on the accounting standards board for non-profit organisations.
Mina is an expert in activity-based accounting and the regulatory framework for non-profit organisations. She has also worked on governance and efficiency projects within the non-profit sector. In addition, she possesses extensive knowledge of state-owned enterprises and companies with partially taxable operations. X has long-standing experience with assurance engagements and the organisation of such audits, including both domestic and international attestations involving instructions and communication with local auditors. Mina is annually responsible for over 200 projects funded by Norad, as well as a range of VAT compensation claims and other assurance engagements.
