Sigmund Olav Lie

Sigmund Olav Lie is based at our Oslo office, where he among other things leads BDO’s industry initiative within real estate.

Sigmund is a state authorised public accountant educated at NHH. He has many years of experience in auditing and advising large and listed Norwegian companies, particularly within real estate and other project-related industries.

Sigmund also has operational experience from strategy processes, corporate management, reporting, valuation, and major investment and financing decisions in his role as CFO at Ferd Eiendom. During his tenure as CFO, Ferd’s real estate initiative was significantly scaled up, and Sigmund led several change initiatives within corporate management, sustainability, and digitalisation, including the implementation of a new accounting system and reporting module in Power BI, which consolidated management information from multiple IT systems.
