Meet our Office Manager in Ørje

Elin Marie Lysaker is the Team Leader for Business Services at BDO Ørje. Here, you can learn a bit more about her.

Elin is a state-authorised accountant and was certified in 2016. She has been employed at BDO since 2020 and has been the team leader at the Ørje office since 2022. She graduated from Østfold University College with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Additionally, she has specialised in business economics. In her free time, family life and farm work occupy much of her time. However, she manages to secure some personal time, during which she enjoys performing on stage. She sings in a band and often participates in local theatre productions

When we ask Elin what she enjoys most about working at BDO, she replies: 'Apart from the collegial atmosphere, the customer interaction is the most rewarding for me. Gaining insight into the daily lives of various business owners is both educational and exciting. As an accountant, we obviously assist with mandatory reporting, but in the client's daily life, we also encounter other financial issues that we can find good solutions for together. Being of help brings me great joy!'
